Joel Visentin is a musician, composer and producer based in Toronto with a multi-faceted career leading his own groups and working with several award-winning artists. Some of his many working musical relationships include touring with singers Barbra Lica (Juno nominee), Kelly Lee Evans (Juno winner), and Sammy Jackson (Juno winner) and touring and recording with Jack Dekeyzer (Juno winner), Ewan Currie (Juno winner of The Sheepdogs), Splash N’ Boots (Juno winner), and Altameda (Juno nominee). Joel also produced numerous tracks on Barbra Lica’s latest album as well as an album by the experimental psychedelic rock group “The Lizards.” In 2020 Joel was the lead Film Composer on the CBC documentary “Above The Law” as well as the follow up full length film “No Visible Trauma.” A timely and important look into police misconduct in Calgary. At present Joel continues to be a highly sought after keyboardist and producer across a multitude of genres.
