Bitter&Broke is a Canadian band and DJ/producer trio based in Toronto, Ontario. Curating the soundtrack to daily life, they cultivate smooth and soulful sounds that merge the classic pallet of soul, jazz, blues and funk with the contemporary grooves of neo-soul, R&B, and hip-hop. This versatile group follows in the footsteps of the Isley Brothers, Erykah Badu, Prince and J Dilla, among other inspirations. When not producing beats and performing alongside Toronto’s emerging musicians, Bitter&Broke run a number of live-jams, DJ parties, open mics, cyphers, and concerts built for the community and cultures that inspire them everyday!
